Gloss & Grain was founded in 2019 by Marcus Reeves, a lifelong car enthusiast who spent a decade managing body shops before realizing his real passion was the art of detailing. It started with a pressure washer and a two-car garage in East Naples — just Marcus, a handful of loyal clients, and a relentless commitment to doing things the right way.
Today, Gloss & Grain operates a 4-bay studio on Horseshoe Drive with a team of certified detailers who share that same obsession with quality. We're IDA-certified by the International Detailing Association, and we use only premium products from Gtechniq, CarPro, and Koch Chemie. We've detailed everything from daily commuters to Porsches, Ferraris, and classic muscle cars.
The name? "Gloss" is the finish — that mirror-like reflection you see when the paint correction is perfect and the coating has cured. "Grain" is the leather, the texture, the craft underneath. It's the part most people don't see, but it's what separates a quick wash from a proper detail.
